Heartburn, burping and indigestion
All four list them. Mounjaro’s, Wegovy’s and Ozempic’s leaflets each call indigestion, burping and reflux or heartburn common, up to 1 in 10 people. In two Zepbound trials, indigestion was reported by 9% to 10% of people on it, against 4% on placebo, and reflux and burping by 4% to 5%.

What else they say
What reflux is
Mounjaro’s leaflet says reflux is caused by stomach acid coming up into the tube from your stomach to your mouth.
An inflamed stomach
Wegovy and Ozempic also list gastritis, an inflamed stomach, with signs like stomach ache, feeling sick or being sick.
In Zepbound’s trials
Indigestion was reported by 9% to 10% on Zepbound, against 4% on placebo; burping by 4% to 5%, against 1%.
If one bothers you
Zepbound’s label says talk to your healthcare provider if you have any side effect that bothers you or does not go away.
