## Sudden changes to your eyesight

- **Sudden loss of vision**: Wegovy’s and Ozempic’s leaflets say urgently contact your doctor about sudden vision loss or rapidly worsening eyesight.
- **NAION, very rare**: The same leaflets list NAION, an eye condition that may cause loss of vision without any pain, as up to 1 in 10,000.
- **An eye examination**: If it may be NAION, they say your doctor will refer you for an eye examination, and you may have to stop treatment.
- **Driving**: The NHS says if you have vision problems after using it, don’t drive, ride a bike or use machinery until they’ve gone.
